Jidirah the whale and the seven sisters.

The Mirning people believed that at the beginning of a time a great white spirit called jidirah the whale came down from the milky way with the seven sisters dancing on his back,create the earth and sky. Jidirah left his mark on the landscape;This is known as the head of Great Australian Bight or Bunda Cliffs.The mirning have communicated with the Southern Right Whales over hundreds and thousands of years.
